Mountain hut

Rifugio Scarpon

Where to stay  Where to eat

This mountain hut is our home, which we run as a family and where we can express our passion for the mountains and hospitality. Born in 1968 and recently fully renovated, the hut is accessible both from Romano D'Ezzelino (Bassano del Grappa) and Caupo (Feltre). We are just a few steps from the peak of Cima Grappa, where the First World War Memorial is located. Being situated on the Vicenza side, from our hut you can enjoy a wide panoramic view of Ortigara, Asiago Plateau and the valley of Monte Pertica. Come and enjoy the dishes of the rich typical cuisine, based on local seasonal products, such as the products of the malghe del Massiccio: the typical Morlach and Bastardo cheeses.
You can leave your car in the large outdoor car park while in the garage you can park your motorbikes and bicycles. We are at your disposal to organize excursions with authorized guides, which are expert in naturalistic, historical and environmental field. In summer we can take you to visit the "malghe" of the area, where you can buy excellent local products.
