Rifugio Cesare Battisti

Where to stay  Where to eat

Come and discover the landscape from our beautiful hut: we are at the foot of the Passo Tre Croci (or Passo della Lora) and of the Catena delle Tre Croci. We host up to 36 hikers and delight your palate with our cuisine: on the menu you will find typical mountain dishes of the upper Valle dell'Agno, which is famous for the "gnocchi di fioreta" (a cheese from the alpine pasture) and the "bigoli con l'arna" (pasta with duck sauce).
We are equipped to welcome you whether you are on foot, by mountain bike, e-bike or on horseback. From here you can set off on historical and educational walks, mountaineering and rock climbing. Excursions not to be missed are the "Giro delle Montagnole Basse e Alte", the European Path E5 and the route along the historical path of the First World War, with the typical stone trenches.
In winter, you can also walk along the paths with snowshoes or, if you are more experienced, have fun along the snow gullies (Vaji) living the experience of Piolet Traction.
