Our mountain hut is located near the top of Monte Pizzoc, 1547 m above sea level, in a wonderful panoramic position and a paradise for trail runners. At a very short distance there is the "Piazza della Pace", the highest square in Europe with its 1565 m height.
The nearby area is part of the "Fregona Summer Trail", an unmissable event for lovers of running into nature from all over Italy.
The area of the mountain hut is the ideal place for cyclists and mountain bike enthusiasts, thanks to the numerous routes in the area linked to the Cansiglio forest which, along the route towards Mount Pizzoc, offers panoramic views alternating with large expanses of beech woods. Just think that since the times of the Republic of Venice, these trees provided the wood from which oars for ships were made, which is why Cansiglio is called "the great oar wood".
Here you can relax after a day discovering the territory, have lunch and dinner with traditional dishes, made with quality raw materials with a strong bond with the territory.
